Time for back braces. For these I used one of the radius dishes for the correct curvature while clamping.
The four lateral braces went on first, clamped in place with fiberglass rods on the deck.
The two braces in the upper bout were tall, and were difficult to clamp. To get around this, I bridged them with some scraps of angle iron and applied clamping pressure to those with the rods. The c clamps in the pics are not clamping anything. Just keeping the angle iron from sliding down the braces.
Once the lateral braces were done I cut the sections for the center strip and glued them in place. For this I used some chunks of UHMW polyethylene. These blocks spread the clamping pressure out a bit so all the force was not focused on a few points.
