000 guitar build - saddle shaping

Got some work done shaping the saddle. This is just to get it to roughly the correct shape. Adjusting the height and intonation will come later once I have strings on it.

I started with drawing a line on the saddle 3/16 above the bridge, matching the curvature of the bridge.

Starting with a coarse file, I cut down close to the line while the saddle was in a vise. This had to be done in stages as the saddle was a lot longer than the vise. I used a couple of wood shims to soften the grip on the saddle.

Once I was close to the line, I worked my way through 3 more files (medium, fine, extra fine) each erasing the tooth marks from the file before it. Finished off with some sand paper.
