Ok, so a uke doesn't really need these, but since this is practice for a future guitar build, I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
I drilled the holes by hand, twisting the drill bit between my fingers, because I was worried about it getting too crazy with a drill. The holes aren't lined up perfectly, but that's water under the bridge.
I first tried gluing the dots in with weld-on, but it skinned over too fast. I waited a couple of days and drilled out the dry cement and started over, this time with titebond.
I made a little puddle of glue and used one of those toothpick/flossers to put a tiny drop in the hole. A dot followed with a pair of tweezers, and clean toothpick used to fine tune placement.
The process was repeated for the rest of the dots. These will be sanded flush once the glue is set.
