Back braces are glued in place. These are slightly curved to make the back a little convex when done. A few clothespins to clamp things in place while the glue dries.
Once dry, the ends of the braces are trimmed back to fit the sides. A little sanding to clean up the dried glue.
I also created a label for the inside. To figure out where to place it, I dry clamped the back to the rest of the sound box and put an X on the back through the sound hole. Looks like I glued it off center anyway though.
