Uke build 4.4 - Top: attaching braces

This episode is attaching the top braces.

First, the braces are trimmed to length with a chisel. It's kind of hard to see the actual brace here since it's the same color as the scrap wood.


Once the braces are trimmed to length, they go on the inside of the top and are clamped down with light pressure with a C clamp and a block of scrap wood as a caul.

The same procedure is used for the bridge plate.
