The side marker dots have been sanded flush, and it's time to glue the fretboard to the neck. The 12th fret is lined up with the end of the neck (some of the fretboard sticks out to be attached to the top later.
Titebond applied, initial squeeze out wiped off, and on goes the rubber band to hold things in place.
